Geek Of The Day : Matt Wisniewski

Usual fashion editorials without super expensive and very very couture are boring, sometimes. The models looked sad and not the real presentation of beauty. Now, what should you do if you experience the same thing like that ? All you have to do is following Matt Wisniewski works, he recreate an unusual editorial with some landscape or nature photos and mix them together carefully. The result is something magical and even more inspiring and exciting than couture, the models look very mystical and godess-like. This is the true art of collaging !

Altuzarra S/S 2013

Amazing thing about Altuzarra is the way they make the dresses look like its just rise from the earth and hug the models’ bodies in a perfect grip of fashion. And, the capes and coats looked like just arrived from some foggy side of the city and freshly tailored. I like the Altuzarra show, some of the clothes remind me about industrial times but some of them push me back to the time where Manhattan is nothing but a muddy forest and green, green grasses.

How To Hang Them

I like photography and I am sure you already knew that. Well, here is the thing : I don’t know how to hang my photos in artistic orders and I don’t even want to put them into albums because albums are easily forgotten. But, after read this article from Elle Decor and saw these pictures. I absolutely know how to hang them. The pictures are taken from other people’s apartments or house and I can’t name them all but you can see it on elledecor.com. Actually, the best part about hanging photos is the inspiring one. I imagine I can walk someday in my own apartment and look at my photos (hanged in perfect artistic ways like those pictures) and thinking : Damn ! I am good.

P.S : My favorite one is the living room with those multi-colored photos/paintings. Really calm and inspiring, no ?

Diane Von Furstenberg S/S 2013

She is infamous for her bold designs with bright colors and sexy yet rebel style and the madam is back for this season ! Inspired by her own childhood as ‘princess’, her collection is everything but boring. The clothes and dresses are cut in a perfect silouhette pretty much like princess. And, the colors ! I can’t think anything better than pink, red and a touch of metallic blue for next year summer/spring.
