When I was in Japan, the only thing that I bought is foods ! Everything from takoyaki (traditional Japanese snacks made of rice flour and filled with squids -or cheese or ham, according to your mood) to bento (rice box) and they were delicious.
The best thing is they’re everywhere and easy to get. But, I would never imagined that you can actually buy some funny -entertaining, I mean- and delicious foods when you’re in a museum.
It looks a little bit out of place. Museum should be all quiet and full with (hard-to-understand) arts and relics, right ? Well, Japanese sure has re-defined the theme of museum because Ghibli Museum has both great foods and cute monuments (artifacts? exhibitions?).
