Punk And Moda Operandi

Twelve half-gods fashion houses, including Givenchy, Prabal Gurung and Vivienne Westwood, joined forces to create a once-in-a-lifetime capsule collection for Moda Operandi in order to celebrate MET Gala, PUNK: Chaos to Couture, a few days ago. Imagine strolling through the store, where you can find pretty much everything about high-fashion punk, from mohawk to boots to something leather. Chic is the correct word to describe the collections.

The best thing about the collections is they don’t try to soften the punk style, I guess all those designers agree to highlight the similarities between punk and fashion and make them work. And I know that the MET Gala is over, but the main purpose of the Gala is to define the next trend and what the world can expect from the social event. I think it’s still the right time to go shopping for some items, maybe the chockers or Nueva York tee and leather pants (you are right. I am obsessed with leather pants right now, soo chic!). Ah, and you better go get them fast because people are already inline since… I don’t know, maybe 5 days ago? And to help you pick your favorite items, here is a bit style guide from Vogue. Yes, the fashion bible itself.
