Vogue Japan April 2013
Everybody seems to be in love with Japan right now. From international singer to just ordinary people (that’s us) and that’s quite understandable because not only friendly and full of smile, Japanese also know how to be crazily fun at any given times. Both in art (manga can be considered an ultimate form of art for fun) and fashion. Who knows that Japanese can pull short pants and super funky sneakers/wedges/boots? And who knows that Kimono can transform into chic mini dress and still recognizable? Let me tell you something, Japan and Asian cultures are raging in fashion-trend billboard and you better go get a piece of it for yourself (think Chinese) (maybe a chopsticks as headpiece?).
Anyway, before you go shopping for Asian cultures, I will give you something to hold on. This editorial from Vogue Japan April 2013 Issue called Neo Nippon can be a good inspiration. Modeled by Saki Asamiya and photographed by Matt Irwin. Oh.. you will find yourself trapped in the middle of The Great Wall of China. Good luck!
